Rospotrebnadzor gave recommendations on how to properly organize the workplace of schoolchildren in distance learning.

“A sedentary position at a school desk or desk affects the functioning of many systems of the student’s body, especially the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. With prolonged sitting, breathing becomes less deep, metabolism decreases, blood stagnates in the lower extremities, which leads to a decrease in the efficiency of the whole organism and especially the brain: attention decreases, memory is weakened, coordination of movements is impaired, the time of mental operations increases, “the message says. , published on the website of the department.

The student’s workplace should be located by the window for a sufficient amount of natural light, but the child needs an additional light source – a table lamp. For right-handers, it should be on the left, for left-handers – on the right.

If the child has a monitor on the table, then it should be positioned so that you do not have to turn towards it. Books are best placed on a stand at an arm’s length from the eyes: this allows you to keep your head straight, which helps to reduce stress on the cervical spine and prevents myopia. When a student rests on the back of a chair, there should be a distance between his chest and the table equal to the width of his palm.

During classes, it is recommended to maintain the correct working posture: you need to sit deeply on a chair, keep your head and body straight, your legs should be bent at the hip and knee joints, your feet should rest on the floor, and your forearms should lie freely on the table.

To prevent overwork, Rospotrebnadzor recommends warm-up and eye exercises every 30-45 minutes.
